Job summary

Unitrade 745 (Pty) Ltd in Cape Town is seeking a technically strong Fire BIM Modeller to join the mechanical team. You will develop fire and sprinkler BIM models across diverse building projects using Revit and AutoCAD, ensuring coordination with other disciplines.

The role requires 5+ years in BIM modelling, a relevant draughting qualification, and proven sprinkler modelling skills. You will collaborate with project teams to translate client requirements into accurate, constructible models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' relevant BIM Modelling experience.
• Education: Relevant draughting qualification.
• Strong Revit and AutoCAD experience for modelling.
• Proven sprinkler modelling skills.
• Specialised BIM training would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate fire and sprinkler BIM models for a variety of building projects.
• Produce and maintain models using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with project teams and other disciplines to ensure coordinated designs.
• Work across retail, commercial, residential, hospitality, industrial and mixed-use developments.
• Interpret project requirements and deliver models in line with project specifications.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, consultants and project stakeholders.
