Placements24 is seeking an experienced Management Consultant focusing on Financial Strategy in Centurion, Gauteng. You will analyse financial needs, develop capital allocation plans, advise on funding strategies and oversee M&A advisory activities.

The role requires a strong financial acumen, strategic thinking and the ability to deliver impactful financial solutions for diverse clients. You will lead project teams, mentor junior consultants, and build relationships with client finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field.
• 5+ years in financial advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, or management consulting with a financial focus.
• Proven experience in financial modelling, valuation and strategic financial planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough financial analysis, including valuation, modelling and scenario planning for diverse clients.
• Develop financial strategies: capital allocation, funding, and M&A advisory.
• Advise on risk management, working capital optimisation and cash flow management.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations and business cases for executive review.
• Collaborate with client finance teams to implement recommendations and monitor progress.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulation, and best practices in corporate finance and financial strategy.
• Lead project teams and mentor junior consultants, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Maintain relationships with key financial stakeholders within client organisations.
