Placements24 is seeking a Senior Financial Manager for our client, a well-established financial services institution, based in Upington in the Northern Cape. You will oversee regional financial operations, ensure accuracy, and drive strategic budgeting and forecasting with strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CA(SA), ACCA or CIMA professional qualification essential.
• Minimum 7 years in financial management with 3+ in a senior role.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and South African tax laws.
• Experience in FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting and reporting.
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage cash flow and optimize working capital.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning processes.
• Provide financial insights to senior management.
• Coordinate with external auditors and banking partners.
• Lead and mentor the finance team.
