Placements24 is assisting a leading investment bank in Rustenburg to hire an ambitious Investment Banking Analyst. The role offers exposure to M&A, capital raising, and corporate advisory, with close collaboration to senior bankers on deal execution and client presentations.

You will build financial models (valuation, LBO, DCF), prepare pitch books, and conduct industry research, while coordinating with clients and deal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• Internship experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance desirable.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, debt, and equity financing transactions.
• Develop financial models including valuation analyses, LBO, and DCF models.
• Prepare pitch books, client presentations, and marketing materials.
• Conduct industry and company research to support origination and execution.
• Coordinate with deal teams, clients, and other advisors throughout the process.
