Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a finance professional for a major South African mining organisation in Gauteng. You will handle monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, and end-to-end accounting processes, while supporting budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting.

With a minimum of 5 years in finance and IFRS expertise, you will strengthen controls and drive process improvements in a complex mining environment.

Qualifications

• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential).
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
• Mining industry experience (essential).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial reporting and management accounts.
• Perform reconciliations, investigate variances and ensure financial accuracy.
• Manage month-end and year-end accounting processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Assist with audit, tax and statutory reporting requirements.
• Strengthen financial controls and contribute to finance process improvements.
