Placements24 seeks an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to drive the finance and accounting recruitment agenda from Paarl, Western Cape. You will manage end-to-end recruitment, sourcing, assessing, presenting top candidates, and nurturing client relationships with financial leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, HR or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years in finance/accounting recruitment.
• Proven track record in placing finance professionals.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and finance terminology.
• Experience with ATS and professional networking platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment process for finance & accounting roles (audit, tax, M&A, FP&A, corporate finance).
• Proactively source high-caliber finance professionals via tools and networks.
• Conduct interviews and assessments of candidates’ skills and aspirations.
• Build strong relationships with finance executives and hiring managers.
• Advise clients on market trends, compensation, and recruitment strategies.
• Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline in finance and accounting.
• Ensure positive candidate experience throughout the journey.
• Maintain accurate candidate data and ATS logs.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices in finance recruiting.
• Mentor junior members of the finance recruitment team.
