Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Senior Recruitment Consultant to lead its Finance & Accounting desk in Klerksdorp. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for finance professionals from junior to executive levels, building strong client relationships in the financial services sector.

Based in our Klerksdorp office, you will develop targeted sourcing strategies, interview and assess candidates, negotiate offers, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to business development

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in recruitment consultancy with Finance & Accounting focus.
• Proven track record in placing finance roles including C-suite.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and industry qualifications (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
• Experience in North West region is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle for finance and accounting professionals.
• Developing and executing targeted sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the finance sector.
• Conducting in-depth candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate skills and experience.
• Negotiating offers and managing the placement process through to completion.
• Achieving and exceeding personal and team recruitment targets.
• Staying informed about market trends, industry changes, and compensation benchmarks in finance and accounting.
• Contributing to business development efforts and identifying new client opportunities.
• Mentoring junior consultants and sharing market insights.
