Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Mechanical Stress Analysis Engineer in East London. You will perform advanced FEA, including static, dynamic, thermal, and fatigue analyses on diverse components and assemblies, driving design improvements for structural integrity and weight optimization.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and at least 5 years of hands-on FEA experience using ANSYS, Abaqus, or NASTRAN.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with FEA.
• Strong understanding of meshing, solver settings, and post-processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced FEA for static, dynamic, thermal, and fatigue simulations on complex components.
• Develop and validate analysis models to represent physical behavior under loads.
• Interpret results and translate into design recommendations for engineers.
