Job summary

EnableSA in Port Elizabeth is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead facilities initiatives from inception to completion. You will plan scopes, timelines and budgets, monitor progress, manage risks, and coordinate contractors and internal stakeholders.

The role requires at least 5 years' experience in project or facilities management, a relevant tertiary qualification, and a valid driver’s licence with willingness to travel. Port Elizabeth base with regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and a tertiary qualification in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, facilities management or operations management.
• Experience managing a team and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, procurement and cost control.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and building services.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel when required.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage facilities-related projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets and resource plans.
• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Oversee day-to-day management and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure.
• Ensure preventative and reactive maintenance programmes are implemented.
