Placements24 is seeking an Area Facilities Manager to oversee a portfolio of corporate properties in Centurion and surrounding areas. You will strategize, manage budgets, supervise staff, and lead vendor relationships to ensure safe, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing facilities across multiple sites.

The role requires a strong background in facilities management, building systems, and regulatory compliance, with travel within the Centurion Gauteng region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 7 years of facilities management experience in corporate environments.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs.
• Experience managing multiple sites and diverse teams.
• Knowledge of building systems and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with CAFM software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement facilities management strategies for a portfolio of corporate properties.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and upgrades of building systems.
• Manage operational budgets and cost control.
• Lead and mentor facilities staff.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental, and building code compliance.
• Develop emergency preparedness and business continuity plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections and assess conditions.
• Oversee space planning, moves, and interior design projects.
• Serve as primary contact for tenants on facilities matters.
