Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in event planning or catering management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

• Excellent client-facing and interpersonal communication.
• Proficiency with event management software and MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through the entire catering planning process from initial inquiry to event completion.
• Develop detailed event proposals, including menu selections, staffing plans, and logistical arrangements.
• Create and manage event timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with the culinary team to finalize menus and ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to arrange rentals, décor, entertainment, and other event necessities.
• Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring smooth operation and prompt resolution of any issues.
• Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability targets are achieved.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate client records and event documentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event catering and management.
