Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related built environment field.
• SACQSP registration advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years' senior/lead estimating experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, CCS Candy, BuildSmart, and other estimating software.
• Strong knowledge of residential, commercial, industrial, and civil construction methods.
• Solid understanding of construction materials, labour productivity, procurement, and market conditions.
• Familiar with contract docs, procurement strategies, and construction contracts.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, civil drawings and specs.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen; excellent negotiation and analytical skills.

• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies for residential, commercial, industrial, and civil projects
• Advanced knowledge of construction materials, labour productivity, procurement methods, and market conditions

• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
