Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking a senior estimator to lead complex tenders in the built environment across residential, commercial, industrial and civil sectors. You will interpret drawings, manage multiple large-scale tenders and drive commercial outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a senior estimating role, professional registration, and advanced proficiency in CCS Candy, BuildSmart and MS Office. Western Cape, SA location strongly preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in a built environment field.
• 5+ years in a senior or leadership estimating role.
• Experience managing multiple large tenders simultaneously.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related built environment qualification
• Professional registration with SACQSP or a related professional body will be advantageous
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior or leadership estimating role
• Proven experience managing multiple large-scale tenders simultaneously
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CCS Candy, BuildSmart, and other estimating software
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies for residential, commercial, industrial, and civil projects
• Advanced knowledge of construction materials, labour productivity, procurement methods, and market conditions
• Strong understanding of contract documentation, procurement strategies, and construction contracts
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
