Job summary

City of Cape Town in Cape Town is seeking an ERP Analyst within Corporate Services Information Systems and Technology to design, implement, and support SAP/ERP solutions across Finance and ISU Revenue. You will gather requirements and ensure the SAP/ERP modules meet business needs from specs to user training.

Ideal candidates have a relevant ICT qualification, SAP/ERP certification where possible, and at least five years’ experience including two as ERP Analyst, with Warehouse experience

Qualifications

• A relevant ICT qualification, preferably a B Degree/National Diploma in Information Systems or in Finance.
• SAP/ERP certification in Finance would be advantageous.
• Minimum five (5) years’ relevant experience, including two (2) years as ERP Analyst.
• Experience in Business Warehouse will be advantageous.
• For ISU Revenue: qualification in Public Administration/Management and SAP Utilities certification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements. Research, identify and propose solutions to meet business requirements.
• To ensure that system developments and functionality meet all business requirements from functional specifications through to user training and support across SAP/ERP modules.
• Design, develop, test, implement and support SAP/ERP solutions.
• Processing of service requests and providing user support.
• Implies projects or portions of projects to ensure effective delivery of projects.
• Participate in managing stakeholder relationships to ensure ongoing commitment of stakeholders.

Requirements:

Requirements for - ERP Finance:

• A relevant professional ICT qualification, preferably a B Degree/National Diploma in Information Systems or in Finance.
• SAP/ERP certification in Finance would be advantageous.
• Minimum five (5) years’ relevant experience of which two (2) years preferably as an ERP Analyst in providing and supporting SAP/ERP functions.
• Experience in Business Warehouse will be advantageous.

Requirements for - ISU Revenue:

• A relevant professional ICT qualification, preferably a National Diploma or B Degree in Public Administration/Management.
• SAP/ERP certification in SAP Utilities would be advantageous.
• Minimum five (5) years’ relevant experience of which two (2) years preferably as an ERP Analyst in providing and supporting SAP/ERP functions.
• Experience in ISU Billing&Invoicing will be advantageous.
