Job summary

KingsleyIrons Recruitment Services CC is seeking an Engineering Services Supervisor for a leading mining operation in Hotazel, Northern Cape. You will oversee mine-wide infrastructure maintenance, including water and power supply, sewage systems, buildings, roads, lighting plants, trailers and TMM equipment, ensuring reliability and compliance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, relocation to site, and management of artisans, contractors and statutory maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Recognised trade required (Diesel Mechanic, Electrician or Fitter).
• Minimum 10 years maintenance experience in mine infrastructure, TMM, pumps, lighting plants.
• Minimum 5 years as an artisan, with at least 3 years supervisory experience in mining.
• Knowledge of RCFA, CMMS, RCM, ICAM.
• Strong understanding of mining processes and infrastructure maintenance.
• Knowledge of applicable mining safety standards.
• Ability to assess performance, identify training needs, and implement development plans.
• Medically fit for a mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute maintenance on mine-wide infrastructure.
• Oversee maintenance of water, power, sewage systems, buildings, roads, lighting plants and trailers.
• Manage and supervise TMM maintenance and onboarding of new equipment.
• Allocate work, manage contractors, overtime, leave, and training.
• Plan and supervise statutory and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain Engineering Safety Management System and ensure MHSA compliance.
• Ensure team competency and training as per job profiles.
• Manage spares, critical stock, and specifications.
• Prepare and manage section budgets.
• Perform any other duties as delegated.
