Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major energy infrastructure initiatives in Cape Town. You will drive end-to-end project delivery, ensure on-time and within-budget performance, and uphold safety and quality standards.

This leadership role requires steering cross-functional teams, managing risks, and communicating with executives and stakeholders. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of PM experience in energy or large-scale projects, a relevant engineering degree, and a track

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years progressive PM experience, with emphasis on energy projects or large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience managing budgets above R100 million.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in South Africa's energy sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of major energy infrastructure projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets and resource allocations.
• Coordinate all project activities to meet objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Manage project risks, issues and changes with mitigation strategies.
• Lead and motivate project teams to maintain high performance.
• Report progress, status and key metrics to senior management.
