Ppc Rdc is seeking a Senior Electronics Repair Technician to join the remote technical support team in South Africa. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electronic assemblies from home, collaborating with engineering to improve repair processes.

The role requires at least 5 years in circuit repair, proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and SMD soldering, plus strong communication for remote teamwork and mentoring junior technicians.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in electronic circuit repair and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with test equipment and interpreting schematics/datasheets.
• Ability to read service manuals and perform complex repairs.
• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Perform in-depth diagnosis and repair of faulty electronic boards, modules, and systems.
• Use oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters to identify component failures.
• Interpret schematics, datasheets, and service manuals to guide repair procedures.
• Solder and de-solder components (SMD and through-hole) with high precision.
• Troubleshoot power supplies, digital/analog circuits, and microcontrollers.
• Document repair actions, findings, and parts used accurately.
• Collaborate with engineering to provide feedback on product reliability.
