Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector for our Randburg, Gauteng facility. You will lead comprehensive inspections of raw materials, in‑process components, and finished electronic products, using precision instruments such as calipers, multimeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure adherence to specifications.

You will analyze results, identify defects, and work with production and engineering to determine root causes and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quality Control Inspector in electronics manufacturing.
• Proficient in visual and dimensional inspections and measurement using precision tools.
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality control tools.
• Experience with SPC is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on raw materials, in‑process components, and finished products.
• Use calipers, multimeters, oscilloscopes to verify specs.
• Analyze results, identify defects, and document non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production/engineering to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Develop and implement inspection procedures and QC plans.
• Maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports.
• Support internal and external quality audits.
