Job summary

Placements24 invites applications for an experienced Senior Quality Control Inspector based at our Kimberley, Northern Cape facility. You will lead inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods, ensuring compliance with specifications and ISO 9001 standards.

You will develop QC plans, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and reduce defects across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in quality control inspection within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of QC principles and basics of Six Sigma.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify specifications and tolerances.
• Identify, document, and report defects and non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to root-cause quality issues.
• Develop and implement QC plans and procedures.
• Monitor processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports and traceability.
