Placements24 is sourcing an Automotive Quality Control Inspector for our Randburg facility in Gauteng. The role emphasizes rigorous inspections of finished vehicles and components, documenting defects, and supporting corrective actions with the production team.

The ideal candidate will understand automotive manufacturing processes, possess strong attention to detail, and communicate findings clearly to ensure quality standards are met throughout production.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector in automotive manufacturing or related field.
• Thorough understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in Randburg, Gauteng.

Responsabilités

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections of finished vehicles and components.
• Use measurement tools to verify adherence to specifications.
• Identify, document and report non-conformities and defects.
• Ensure QC activities follow company standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and QA teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results and quality data.
• Monitor production processes for quality compliance.
