Job summary

Sasol is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Lead to support production at the Secunda site. You will oversee maintenance planning, enable safe and reliable operation, and drive continuous improvement of equipment availability.

You will mentor artisans, ensure adherence to procedures, and manage start-up/shutdown tasks while upholding SHERQ and PSM standards, within a diverse team.

Qualifications

• National Senior Cetificate / N3 with Mathematics, Physical Science and English.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Planning, control and management of operations/maintenance activity and ensuring effective execution.
• Ensure maximum task quality and efficiency of equipment.
• Manage and control costs within allocated budget.
• Evaluate abnormalities in emergencies and take corrective action to avoid downtime or incidents.
• Ensure team adheres to procedures and safety standards (SHERQ/PSM).
• Coordinate maintenance planning to maximise production output.
• Facilitate coaching, development and competence declarations for staff.
