Job summary

Sasol is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for Secunda Operations in Secunda, Mpumalanga. The role coordinates maintenance and repair for a specific process, manages control panels and performs troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

You will contribute to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement by providing progress feedback, participating in risk assessments, and leading on-the-job coaching and toolbox talks with the team.

Qualifications

• Matric/N3 with Maths, English and Physical Science.
• Chieta NQF Level 4 Chemical Operations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience: 3+ years in relevant maintenance roles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance and repair services for a specific process.
• Direct control panel management and troubleshooting.
• Provide feedback to supervisor on work progress.
• Participate in risk assessments to improve safety.
• Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to waste disposal procedures.
• Lead toolbox talks and on-the-job coaching.
• Incorporate PDP goals with group leader approval.
• Present on plant equipment as needed.
• Support IMS inspections to improve plant sustainability.
