Job summary

Sasol is seeking an experienced reliability engineer to support reliability studies on equipment, provide technical support for fabrication, installation and startup, and implement improvements to enhance asset reliability and safety compliance at Secunda, Mpumalanga. You will review processes, perform RCA/DM analyses, and mentor teams to optimise life-cycle costs.

With a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering and 3+ years in related roles, you will lead cross-functional projects, ensure quality

Qualifications

• Experience with reliability practices and life-cycle costing.
• Understanding of HAZOPs, PDA39s and root cause analysis.
• Ability to plan, execute, and report across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and safely execute work according to instructions, requirements and schedules.
• Ensure safe project execution and implementation of procedures (HAZOPs, PDA39s).
• Provide expert troubleshooting for equipment and processes in labs and pilot plants.
• Manage multiple projects with different priorities and deliver within time and budget.
• Ensure documentation is complete and of high quality for each project.
