Job summary

Bidvest Group seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform timeous and quality planned, preventative and emergency maintenance on specified equipment, supporting the business maintenance strategy and client service standards.

You will deliver planned and reactive maintenance across the hard FM spectrum on standby plants, electrical installations and minor building works, liaising with the client control centre and testing alarms after maintenance.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• N3–N6 in Electrical Engineering with Trade Test.
• Valid SA Driver's License and Wireman's License.
• 3 years of relevant maintenance experience in electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out timeous and quality planned, preventive and emergency maintenance on equipment.
• Report on-site maintenance work and obtain off-site check out on job cards.
• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across hard FM on standby plants and electrical installations.
• Liaise with client control centre on maintenance work and activate alarms during maintenance.
• Carry out tasks on job cards per client and company requirements.
• Test and ensure alarms for functionality post maintenance.
