Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to lead a maintenance team in Benoni. You will design and drive predictive and preventive programs, troubleshoot complex electrical faults, and ensure safety and reliability of all electrical systems in our facilities.

This hands-on leadership role requires deep industrial electrical expertise and a track record of reducing downtime. The role also involves managing spare parts, analyzing maintenance data for improvements, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 6 years in electrical maintenance with 2+ years in supervision.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, drives and distribution.
Experience with CMMS and maintenance data analysis.
Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the electrical maintenance team.
Develop, implement and optimize predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical faults in machinery and power systems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards and best practices.
Manage spare parts inventory and procurement for electrical maintenance needs.
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and improvements.
Oversee electrical aspects of capital projects and upgrades.
