Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Electrical Installation Manager for a major Richards Bay project. You will lead on-site electrical installation, supervise electricians and technicians, and ensure adherence to safety, quality and schedule requirements.

You will coordinate with engineering and client representatives, manage procurement and logistics, and drive continuous improvement to meet project milestones in a challenging industrial environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical installations.
• 5+ years in management or supervision on large-scale projects.
• Experience leading teams of 50+ personnel.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical installation plans, schedules and method statements.
• Supervise on-site electrical installation teams for efficiency and safety.
• Enforce safety procedures and toolbox talks to maintain zero-harm environment.
• Ensure installations conform to drawings, specs, IEC/SANS standards.
• Oversee quality control, inspections and testing of installations.
• Manage procurement and logistics of electrical materials and tools.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical and instrumentation teams.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions to stay on schedule.
• Manage site budgets and control costs.
