Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, industrial power systems.
• HV distribution, substations, and protection schemes design/management.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Familiar with SANS, IEC, and IEEE codes and standards.
• Pr.Eng registration with ECSA or eligibility is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of electrical infrastructure projects.
• Develop strategies to optimize power quality, energy efficiency, and reliability across facilities.
• Oversee maintenance, inspection, and testing to meet safety and operational requirements.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and technicians.
• Liaise with external contractors, vendors, and regulators to ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including single-line diagrams and P&IDs.
• Investigate and resolve complex faults and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on advancements and best practices in electrical infrastructure engineering.
