Job summary

Goldman Tech Resourcing client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Secunda or Cape Town. You will lead MV/LV industrial projects, develop detailed electrical designs, and prepare technical reports and specifications.

The candidate should hold a BEng or BSc Eng in Electrical Engineering with 5–10 years’ MV/LV experience in an industrial plant setting. Petrochemical exposure and ECSA Pr Eng registration are advantageous; you will work both independently and with

Qualifications

BEng / BSc Eng in Electrical Engineering.
5–10 years' engineering experience on MV/LV projects within an industrial plant environment.
Experience in detailed electrical design, engineering and equipment/network specification.
Petrochemical industry experience advantageous.
ECSA Pr Eng registration will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute electrical engineering activities on MV/LV industrial projects.
Develop detailed electrical designs, specifications and engineering documentation.
Design and evaluate electrical equipment, systems and networks.
Provide technical input throughout project development and implementation.
Solve complex engineering and technical problems proactively.
Drive assigned tasks to completion while maintaining quality and project requirements.
Prepare clear and professional technical reports and documentation.
Work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Engage with clients, project teams and other stakeholders as required.
