Unitrade 745 (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in MV and LV engineering for industrial plant projects. The role emphasizes detailed design ownership, equipment specification, and delivering high-quality technical documentation.

The candidate should have 5–10 years in MV/LV projects, be able to work independently or in a team, and possess excellent report-writing skills. Petrochemical exposure is preferred. ECSA Pr.Eng is advantageous.

Our client is looking for a results-driven professional who can apply sound engineering principles to industrial projects and confidently take ownership of detailed design and engineering deliverables.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Performing detailed electrical design and engineering for industrial plant projects.
• Engineering and specifying MV/LV equipment and electrical networks.
• Developing practical, technically sound engineering solutions.
• Reviewing and resolving electrical engineering challenges during project execution.
• Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Ensuring assigned engineering deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

Minimum Requirements:

• B Eng/BSc Eng degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years' experience in MV/LV engineering projects within an industrial plant environment.
• Demonstrable experience in detailed electrical design, engineering and equipment/network specification.
• Petrochemical experience is preferred.
• ECSA Pr.Eng registration will be advantageous.
• Strong ability to take initiative and drive work to completion.
• Results-oriented approach with effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills and professional discipline.
• Good interpersonal relations.
• Excellent English report-writing capability.
• Valid Code B/EB driver's licence.
