Job summary

Capital PFS is urgently seeking an Electrical Engineer to support energy storage, photovoltaic, and grid infrastructure projects in South Africa. You will lead design and delivery, ensuring Eskom standards compliance and effective project execution.

With a minimum of 8 years in power or renewable energy, you will coordinate with design institutes, IPP developers, or EPC contractors, manage technical documentation, and contribute to bid activities and cost optimization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the power or renewable energy industry.
Experience with at least two types of organizations, including design institutes (e.g., Eskom, Zutari), IPP developers, or EPC contractors.

Responsibilities

Support and deliver energy storage, photovoltaic, and power transmission & transformation projects.
Participate in bidding, engineering design, technical coordination, and project execution activities.
Ensure compliance with Eskom standards, local industry specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Support preparation of technical documentation, cost optimization, and project delivery activities.
