Reporting Manager Title : Department Manager Electrical Engineering

Main Purpose of Job

Lead miscellaneous, small and large projects in the Electrical Engineering function and/or support the Principal Engineer/Lead Engineer in managing Electrical Engineering on projects. This requires independence, originality, engineering ingenuity, good knowledge of Electrical Engineering, and good judgement.

The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for controlling and monitoring the progress and quality of assigned tasks within the Electrical Engineering discipline, including supervising Engineers and Junior Engineers.

Carry out electrical engineering and design work in accordance with codes and practices that meet contract requirements, schedules, budgets, and procedures as per the company Engineering Directive.

Conduct engineering and design work independently, following Worley's engineering and project governance as outlined in the Technical Stewardship Standard.

Requirements of the Job

Minimum Qualifications:

• BSc, BEng, or BTech from a recognized institute.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist with ECSA.

Experience:

• At least 6 years (MSc) or relevant years (BSc/BEng/BEng Tech/BTech) of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in Mining, Minerals and Chemicals, Hydrocarbons, Power, and Public Infrastructure industries is essential.
