Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for commercial developments in Sandton. You will oversee power distribution, lighting, and integrated building systems for large-scale projects. You will guide project teams, manage client relationships, ensure compliance with SANS and regulations, and mentor junior engineers.

A Pr. Eng. with ECSA is preferred and Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Dialux skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design for commercial buildings.
• Pr. Eng. with ECSA is highly desirable.
• Expertise in power systems, lighting design, and low-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for commercial building projects from concept to completion.
• Develop detailed electrical system designs including power distribution, emergency power, lighting and fire alarm systems.
• Prepare comprehensive electrical drawings, specifications and schedules using CAD tools.
• Ensure designs comply with SANS and National Building Regulations and client requirements.
