Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a global team on a fully remote basis. The role leads design and development of complex electrical systems and includes mentoring junior engineers to build design excellence from concept to production.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in electrical design, strong expertise in circuit design and power management, and proficiency with Altium Designer and Cadence.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in electrical design and development.
• Expertise in circuit design, power management, and analog/digital electronics.
• Proficiency with CAD and simulation tools (Altium Designer, Cadence).
• Experience leading engineering projects and mentoring teammates.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design process for new products and systems, from conceptualization to final implementation.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, PWB layouts, and system architecture designs.
• Perform rigorous analysis, including power, signal integrity, and EMC, to ensure design robustness.
• Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and firmware engineers, in a virtual setting.
• Oversee prototype testing, validation, and the resolution of complex design challenges.
