Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior electrical project engineer to lead complex LV/MV design and provide trusted technical guidance across all project phases. You will manage schedules, budgets, and multi-disciplinary interfaces, including BIM and procurement.

Ideal candidates will have 12+ years in heavy industrial electrical projects, data centre exposure, and professional registration with ECSA, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• BSc in electrical engineering or equivalent required.
• 12+ years electrical project engineering experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Data Centre experience will be beneficial.
• Registered as a Full Professional with ECSA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and review of complex electrical designs and engineering solutions.
• Prepare schedules, estimates, progress reports, meetings, and procurement activity.
• Electrical engineering and design across all project phases per standards.
• Interface with PLCs, DCS, and Building Management Systems.
• Perform system studies (short circuit, load flow, protection coordination).
• Mentor and develop electrical engineers and designers.
