Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Duty Manager to join a luxury safari lodge in the Addo area, Eastern Cape.

You will oversee daily lodge operations, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional guest service levels while maintaining the lodge's luxury standards.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily lodge operations across all departments.
• Supervise staff and maintain high service standards.
• Manage guest arrivals, departures, requests and complaints.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, kitchen and other departments.
• Conduct operational checks to uphold luxury standards.
• Assist with staff scheduling and performance management.
• Monitor guest feedback and drive improvements.
• Support management with reporting and planning.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and operational procedures.

About the Opportunity Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and professional Senior Duty Manager to join a luxury safari lodge in the Addo area, Eastern Cape. This is an urgent opportunity for a dedicated hospitality professional with strong leadership abilities, excellent guest relations skills and the ability to oversee daily lodge operations while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lodge operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery across all departments.
• Supervise and support staff, maintaining high standards of professionalism and guest service.
• Manage guest arrivals, departures, requests and complaints with care and efficiency.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, food and beverage, kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Conduct operational checks to ensure the property maintains its luxury standards.
• Assist with staff scheduling, briefings and performance management.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements where necessary.
• Support lodge management with administrative duties, reporting and operational planning.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and operational procedures.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a senior duty management or supervisory role within a luxury lodge, hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and guest relations abilities.
• A hands-on approach with exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to multitask, solve problems and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• A professional, guest-focused attitude and a passion for hospitality.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Availability to take up the position urgently will be advantageous.

Package

• Salary: R20,000 - R23,000 per month ( depending on experience).
