Placements24 is seeking a Senior Drilling Supervisor to oversee on-site drilling operations in the Nelspruit region. The role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient performance of drilling crews and equipment.

You will monitor wellbore conditions, manage logistics, and coordinate with service providers while reporting progress and incidents. This is an on-site role with periodic planning and reporting activities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of drilling supervision or rig experience in Oil & Gas.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management in high‑pressure environments.
• In‑depth knowledge of drilling equipment, fluids, well control and safety procedures.
• IWCF Level4 and H2S Alive or equivalent certifications are essential.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and decisive decision‑making.
• Ability to work in remote field locations and manage logistics near Nelspruit.
