Formación

• 10+ years of drilling engineering experience, offshore and onshore.
• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.

This position is instrumental in overseeing and optimizing drilling campaigns across multiple international assets from a remote location. You will leverage advanced remote monitoring tools and data analytics to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling operations. This role demands a proactive engineer with extensive experience in well planning and execution, who thrives in a collaborative, virtual environment and is adept at managing complex drilling challenges without direct site supervision. Your expertise will be critical in driving operational excellence and achieving drilling targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive well drilling plans , including trajectory, casing programs, and drilling fluid design.
• Manage and monitor drilling operations remotely, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Optimize drilling parameters to improve efficiency, reduce non-productive time (NPT), and control costs.
• Conduct post-drill analysis to identify lessons learned and implement best practices for future wells.
• Oversee the selection and management of drilling contractors and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies in a remote setting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in drilling engineering , with significant exposure to offshore and onshore operations.
• Proven expertise in well planning software and real-time drilling data analysis platforms.
• Strong understanding of drilling mechanics, wellbore stability, and formation evaluation during drilling.
• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
• Excellent remote leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage remote teams effectively.
