Placements24 seeks a seasoned Remote Drilling Engineer to join a globally distributed team and lead planning, execution and management of drilling operations from a remote location.

You will leverage cutting-edge technology, collaborate with onshore and offshore teams, and drive safe, cost-efficient projects across international oil & gas operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years hands-on drilling engineering experience.
• Expertise in well planning, directional drilling and MPD.
• Experience with drilling simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and remote work capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drilling programs and contingency plans for various well types.
• Oversee remote drilling operations, ensure safety and standards compliance.
• Perform real-time monitoring of drilling parameters and interventions.
• Manage selection and procurement of drilling equipment, services, and materials.
• Conduct post-drilling analysis and cost reviews for improvements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in well planning , directional drilling, managed pressure drilling (MPD), and associated technologies.
• Proficiency with drilling simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills suitable for a remote work environment.
