Placements24 seeks a visionary District Retail Manager to lead a portfolio of stores in Sandton, Gauteng. You will drive sales, manage profitability, and develop store leaders while ensuring brand standards across all locations.

You will recruit, coach, and retain high-performing managers, translate corporate strategy to district execution, and foster a customer-centric culture with strong governance and budgeting discipline. This on-site role requires regular travel within the district.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in multi-unit retail management with sales/ops focus.
• Proven track record growing districts/regions.
• Strong leadership with ability to inspire teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within district and to offices.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing district-level sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Overseeing the performance of multiple retail stores and store managers within the assigned district.
• Recruiting, coaching, and developing high-performing store managers and teams.
• Ensuring consistent brand presentation and customer experience across all locations.
• Managing district budgets, controlling expenses, and optimizing profitability.
• Implementing and enforcing all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Analyzing sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Driving initiatives for operational efficiency, inventory management, and loss prevention.
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate leadership and regional teams.
• Championing a positive and high-performance work culture throughout the district.
