Placements24 is seeking a Senior Digital Transformation Architect to join the Randburg, Gauteng region in a hybrid role. The role focuses on leveraging digital technologies to enhance design processes, project delivery, and client services across our client’s architectural and engineering portfolio.

The ideal candidate has a Master's degree and 10+ years in architecture or tech consulting, with 5+ years in digital transformation.

Qualificações

Master's degree in Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with a focus on digital technologies.
10+ years of experience in architectural practice or technology consulting, with at least 5 years dedicated to digital transformation initiatives.
Proven track record in implementing BIM, digital workflows, and data-driven solutions in an AEC environment.
In-depth knowledge of data architecture, cloud computing, and cybersecurity principles.
Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Professional registration with SACAP or a relevant technical body is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

Develop and execute the firm's digital transformation strategy for architectural and engineering design.
Lead the implementation and optimization of advanced digital tools and platforms, including BIM, VR/AR, and data analytics.
Identify opportunities for leveraging AI and machine learning in design optimization and project management.
Establish digital standards, workflows, and best practices across project teams.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to staff on digital tools and methodologies.
Collaborate with IT departments to ensure robust and secure digital infrastructure.
Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the business.
Manage digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with project goals and business objectives.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions on digital transformation topics.
