Motus Corporation in South Africa seeks a qualified Technician with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience to join the service team. You will diagnose faults, assist mechanics, and ensure servicing stays within manufacturers' time targets while keeping customers informed.

The role requires strong English communication, a valid driver's license, and a proven track record of fixing problems right first time. Training and OEM courses will be provided as part of ongoing development.

Qualificações

• Qualified Technician with 3-5 years post-qualification experience.
• KIA technician experience will be of advantage.
• OEM product training will be an advantage.
• Must have fix-right-first-time track record.
• Competent at operating manufacturer diagnostic equipment to access information.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out diagnostic work and support mechanics as set by the Foreman.
• Carry out fault diagnosis to aid and speed up vehicle servicing.
• Ensure servicing stays within targeted percentages of the manufacturers' time.
• Discuss matters with service advisors and customers and provide explanations.
• Maintain standards of vehicle care and safety while performing duties.
• Return serviced vehicles to customers in a neat, clean condition.
• Complete OEM training (online, classroom, etc.) within reasonable time frames.
• Admin functions: complete forms and documentation in the service routine.
• Draft and prepare reports as required.
• Mentor apprentices, sign off logbooks and evaluate their technical ability.
• Ensure effective communication with team members and customers.
• Participate in marketing campaigns when required for business needs.
• Any other duties as may reasonably be required.
