NTT DATA in Durban is seeking a Senior Team Lead, DevOps to drive reliable, scalable operations and oversee design, build, release and support across portfolios. The role combines technical leadership with stakeholder collaboration in a hybrid work environment.

You will guide DevOps practices, manage delivery pipelines, ensure continuous integration and testing, and mentor a team across geographies while aligning with DevOps principles and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field required.
• DevOps certification is preferred.
• Agile related certification preferred.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manages DevOps operations and coordinates delivery with product design and production.
• Works with stakeholders to execute the DevOps strategy.
• Designs and implements processes, tools and capabilities for CI/CD and deployment.
• Oversees lifecycle management for product/portfolio and agile software development to production.
• Ensures automated testing, integration and rapid release cycles.
• Develops delivery pipelines enabling continuous deployment of enhancements and bug fixes.
• Monitors production quality and enables automated testing for reliability.
• Manages tickets to maintain uptime and production quality.
• Leads teams and allocates work, including supervisory duties.
• Plans system and acceptance testing, including security testing within projects.
• Maintains support procedures and manages enhancements.
• Ensures requests for support follow standards.
