Job summary

Network Finance seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure across production, staging and development; you’ll design IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and automation, and drive performance, security and resilience improvements. You’ll enhance monitoring, support DR and failover, and promote DevSecOps across agile teams.

The role requires solid AWS expertise, Linux administration, and experience with IaC and automation in FinTech or high-growth settings.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience.
• Solid Linux administration experience in production environments.
• Proven expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation.
• Experience designing and supporting secure, compliant environments.
• Exposure to PCI-DSS and/or ISO27001 environments will be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, agile delivery, and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience within FinTech, technology, or other high-growth environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and optimise cloud infrastructure across production, staging, and development environments.
• Design and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
• Improve platform performance, scalability, security, and resilience.
• Enhance monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability capabilities.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, failover, and business continuity initiatives.
• Champion DevSecOps practices, vulnerability management, patching, and secure platform configurations.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to improve deployment efficiency and operational reliability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure and developer experience.
• Contribute to agile delivery teams and continuous improvement initiatives.
