Placements24 in Paarl is seeking a talented and innovative DeFi Protocol Developer to join their team. You will work on building secure, efficient DeFi protocols, smart contracts, and the underlying blockchain infrastructure that powers them.

This role focuses on designing and deploying methods for lending, borrowing, trading, and other financial services on the blockchain, with emphasis on security, gas efficiency, and collaboration with product managers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and deploying DeFi protocols and smart contracts (e.g., using Solidity).
• Deep understanding of financial markets, tokenomics, and various DeFi mechanisms (e.g., AMMs, lending pools).
• Strong proficiency in smart contract development languages and blockchain development tools.
• Familiarity with blockchain security best practices and experience in mitigating common vulnerabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work creatively to solve complex financial challenges.
• A strong passion for decentralized finance and its potential to reshape the financial industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure and efficient DeFi protocols and smart contracts.
• Implement innovative features for lending, borrowing, trading, and other financial services on the blockchain.
• Conduct thorough testing, auditing, and optimization of smart contracts to ensure security and gas efficiency.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate financial concepts into functional blockchain solutions.
