Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification or relevant professional accounting qualification would be advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in accounts receivable, credit control or debtors management.
• At least 4 years' experience in management or senior supervisory role, with responsibility for leading a team, managing performance and driving operational results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Credit Department.
• Drive collections across all branches and monitor DSO metrics.
• Review credit applications and load approved limits on the ERP system.
• Monitor customer credit limits and review as needed.
• Allocate payments accurately and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide branch operational support and escalation as needed.
• Lead and develop Credit Controllers; report to National Credit Risk Manager.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
