Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in data science or related analytical role in energy sector.
• Proven expertise in machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, time series, deep learning).
• Proficiency in Python or R and libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, pandas, NumPy).
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and SQL databases.
• Strong statistical modeling, experimental design, and data mining skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate complex findings for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models for forecasting, anomaly detection, and optimization.
• Analyze large datasets from smart meters, SCADA, and market data.
• Collaborate with domain experts to define problems and solutions.
• Maintain data pipelines for processing and feature engineering.
