Job summary

QE Services IT Recruitment represents a Cape Town–based client recruiting a Senior Data & Business Analyst on a contract basis. You will own policy data migration end-to-end, translate underwriting specifications into mappings, and ensure data quality across source systems, JSON payloads and PolicyCenter.

Collaborating with Appian developers, integration teams and external vendors, you will validate data, resolve defects and support RPA readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience with insurance data and policy data migration.
• Ability to translate underwriting specifications into technical mappings.
• Experience in data migration testing, reconciliation and data-quality remediation.
• Familiarity with complex integration environments and multiple source systems.
• Knowledge of Agile software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of policy data throughout migration journey.
• Translate policy schedules and endorsements into detailed mapping matrices and JSON schemas.
• Collaborate with binder holders, brokers, vendors and internal teams to resolve data-quality bottlenecks.
• Work with Appian developers on migration control platform, validation and dashboards.
