Job summary

QE Services IT Recruitment is sourcing a Junior Business Analyst for a client in Centurion, Gauteng. The role focuses on gathering, validating and documenting business requirements across transactional systems and Omni-channel components.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, vendors and development teams, assist in testing and change management, and help ensure solutions meet business needs in a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Experience in the financial services sector, preferably Short-Term Insurance.
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Experience gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements.

Responsibilities

Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather, analyse and validate business requirements.
Identify opportunities for enhancements and new implementations across systems and channels.
Document business requirements through BRS documents, user stories and related specifications.
Obtain stakeholder approval and ensure requirements are clearly communicated.
Work with development teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, development teams and vendors.
Support and coordinate testing activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
Coordinate user acceptance testing, sign-off and deployment of changes.
Communicate progress, risks, issues and dependencies to stakeholders.
Assist with change management to ensure solutions meet requirements.
