About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst with a specialization in Threat Intelligence to join their expanding IT & Software division in Centurion . This critical role involves proactively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats to protect the organization's digital assets. You will be instrumental in developing and enhancing threat detection capabilities, researching emerging threats, and providing actionable intelligence to security operations and incident response teams. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and interpret threat intelligence feeds from various sources to identify potential risks.
• Develop and maintain threat models and profiles specific to the organization's industry and environment.
• Conduct in-depth research on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Provide timely and actionable threat intelligence reports to stakeholders, including SOC and incident response teams.
• Assist in the development and tuning of security controls and detection mechanisms based on threat intelligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of attacker methodologies, TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures), and cyber threat landscapes.
• Proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms and security analysis tools.
