Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical Information Security Analyst with a specialization in threat intelligence to join their security team in Randburg . This role focuses on proactively identifying, analyzing, and reporting on cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and actors that could impact the organization. You will leverage various sources of information to provide actionable intelligence, enabling the organization to better anticipate and defend against evolving threats. This is a critical position for understanding the threat landscape and enhancing the overall security posture in a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligence from open-source, commercial, and government feeds.
• Identify and track threat actors, their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Develop threat models and intelligence reports to inform security strategies and decision-making.
• Monitor the dark web and other sources for potential threats and indicators of compromise (IOCs) relevant to the organization.
